Why local action matters Affected Communities working together New Zealand has committed to net-zero emissions by mid-century — but the window is closing fast.
Individual choices matter, but the laws, policies, and budgets set by our local and national representatives have an outsized impact. We exist to make sure Kāpiti’s voice is heard in those rooms.
The costs of fossil-fuelled energy and costs and impacts of climate change demand a new approach to affordable, renewable secure energy. Together we can continue a focus on environment, transport emissions and renewable energy that makes a difference for Aotearoa/New Zealand into the future
