The Regulatory Standards Bill is a pivotal piece of legislation with significant implications for New Zealand’s democratic processes, environmental protections, and social safeguards.
The far reaching impacts are tantamount to constitutional reform and are being pushed through by ACT as part of its agenda of putting the interests of a wealthy few ahead of everything and everyone else.
The public have a final official opportunity to comment on the draft bill by 1pm Monday 23 June.
Low Carbon Kāpiti has drafted a submission stating our concerns with the Bill. You are welcome to draw points from it if you wish.
